Institutional website redesign

API integration

Building strong digital foundations designed to support growth and progression.

Two distinct platforms. One shared strategic vision

Cégep Garneau’s Continuing Education and Business Services department entrusted us with the complete redesign of two digital platforms: Progressez, the main showcase for its training programs and corporate services, and Exportech Québec, a training enterprise focused on employability. Although both initiatives belong to the same organization, they serve very different realities. The objective was not simply to modernize their visual presence, but to structure two coherent, high-performing and scalable digital experiences capable of supporting recruitment, enrollment and employability.

The challenge

Modernizing two complex ecosystems without diluting their identity or compromising institutional compliance.

Progressez managed a significant volume of content, including dozens of training categories, over a hundred professional development courses, AEC programs, micro-credentials, corporate services, evaluation tests and specialized pathways. The existing architecture was dense, loosely structured and organized around internal hierarchies rather than real user intent.

At the same time, Exportech Québec needed to clarify a training enterprise model that remains largely unknown to the general public. Its website had to do more than inform: it needed to persuade, reassure and drive action, whether submitting an application, referring a participant or partnering as an employer.

On top of this functional complexity, several technical and regulatory constraints had to be addressed:

  • integration of the BRIO API for training and enrollment management,
  • compliance with SGQRI 008 2.0 accessibility standards,
  • alignment with Law 25 and government cybersecurity requirements,
  • optimal mobile performance,
  • and full content management autonomy for internal teams.

Our approach

Refocusing the architecture around user intent while building a robust and scalable technological foundation.

Our approach was structured around two complementary pillars: user experience and infrastructure resilience.

For Progressez, we restructured the information architecture based on concrete user needs: I want to study. I want to upskill. I want my experience recognized. I want to train my team. This action-driven logic shaped the navigation, filters, pathways and calls to action.

For Exportech, we adopted a more human and educational tone. The website needed to clearly communicate its value proposition, highlight the tangible benefits of the training enterprise model, and facilitate conversion through simple, accessible forms.

Progressez

Turning an institutional catalog into an action-driven platform

Progressez is more than a program showcase: it is a strategic gateway to enrollment, recognition of prior learning, and corporate services. We redesigned the experience to simplify access to information, clarify user pathways and reduce friction toward action.

The navigation was rebuilt to enable quick discovery of training opportunities through filters aligned with real user needs. Each page was optimized to guide visitors toward a clear next step: enroll, request information, or explore related programs.

Technical note

Full integration of the BRIO API ensures real-time synchronization of training offerings and continuous data display.

Exportech Québec

Clarifying a distinctive value proposition

Exportech needed to move away from a traditional institutional tone and adopt a more human, direct and support-oriented approach. We structured the website around the tangible benefits of the training journey: simulated professional experience, skills development, personalized guidance and integration into the job market.

The design highlights testimonials, employment sectors and clear calls to action. Forms were streamlined to facilitate contact, whether for submitting an application, referring a participant or sharing a job opportunity.

Content that guides

Informing, reassuring and supporting every step of the journey

Beyond structure and functionality, both platforms share the same ambition: to provide content that clearly orients visitors and supports their progression.

Pages grounded in real-life contexts

Both websites structure their content around the concrete situations experienced by their audiences. Rather than simply presenting an offer, the pages address specific questions and speak directly to user intent. This approach clarifies pathways, reduces uncertainty and facilitates action.

An editorial space to deepen engagement and inspire

Editorial sections play a strategic role across both platforms. Articles, practical advice, updates and testimonials enrich the experience, strengthen credibility and support decision-making. These contents extend the conversation beyond core pages and actively contribute to the visibility and impact of each initiative.

Measurable impact

These platforms now support recruitment, enrollment and employability objectives while meeting the highest institutional standards.

Beyond the visual redesign, the project enabled the creation of a truly sustainable digital ecosystem for Cégep Garneau’s continuing education. Enhanced user pathways, simplified navigation and seamless integration of transactional systems have resulted in a clearer, more efficient experience.
