The Journées dentaires internationales du Québec, presented by the Ordre des dentistes du Québec, is much more than a conference. It is the largest dental gathering in Canada, bringing together thousands of professionals, speakers, and exhibitors every year. The website needed to reflect this scale, serving both as a showcase for a flagship event and as an essential management tool for the organizing team.

The challenge

Modernizing a large-scale website while simplifying the management of a complex event.

Before starting the redesign, we analyzed user journeys (attendees, exhibitors, and speakers) to understand their needs and pain points. The goal was to transform a rich volume of content into an intuitive and enjoyable experience, while equipping the internal team with an autonomous management tool.

The JDIQ team benefits from a centralized administration environment that allows them to update the program, exhibitors, and content without technical intervention.

Integrated tools ensure seamless synchronization with external databases and simplified form management. Powered by WordPress and ACF PRO, the platform includes API connections to the event registration system and the exhibitor directory.

Technical note

The modular architecture, combined with dynamic caching and a CDN, ensures optimal performance even during peak traffic periods.
